A village in the Zarecki Potok valley. In a source from 1282, it is mentioned as Grunow. In the Middle Ages, it was owned by the von Schreibersdorfs, the von Hobergs and the von Haugwitzs. In the village, there is a Heavenly Mother Queen of Poland church built in 1800-1801 in the place of an older one, referred to in 1346. Inside there are wooden inner galleries and decoration from the 1830s. Near the church we can find a penitential cross with the image of a knife. The local manor, covered by a mansard roof with dormers, was erected at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. In the western part of the village, along the road to Pokrzywnik village, there is a great lane with magnificent oaks as well as maples and horse chestnuts.
